Doug is a schoolteacher in the small Louisiana town of Haven, which is hidden among the swamps. Haven has witnessed a series of bizarre occurrences that the townspeople believe to be sent by God. A child has been killed and the river has turned to blood, which is only the beginning of what appears to be a revisiting of the Biblical 10 plagues upon the otherwise sleepy town.

Chuck Levine and Larry Valentine are two firefighters. They are good friends. However, Larry is a widower (with two small children) and Chuck is single.
Larry dares Chuck one day to eat a dead rat, but he falls from the ladder that he was going to the drop the rat from. Chuck saves him but the two are rushed to the hospital and quickly recover. Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his two kids as his pension beneficiaries. All that Chuck has to do is claim to be Larry's domestic partner on some city forms. They think it will be easy because nobody will ever know. After Chuck agrees to the ruse (though reluctantly so, due in large part to his notorious womanizing), the two men go to Niagara Falls to get married, and Chuck moves in with Larry and his unsuspecting kids.
But an official becomes suspicious, and the new couple's arrangement becomes a citywide issue and goes from confidential to front-page news. Michelle Pfeifer and Brittany Snow star as the nasty mother daughter team of Velma and Amber Von Tussle who are determined to prevent any changes to lily white, homogenous look of the show. Queen Latifah and Elijah Kelleys characters of Motormouth Maybelle and Seaweed join up with Tracy to fight for the rights of all.

‘DOA’, the game, is a 3-D beat-’em-up featuring a bevy of athletic, buxom beauties in skintight leotards kicking seven shades out of each other. It’s an ideal vehicle for Yuen, who is a dab hand at filming imaginative hand-to-hand combat sequences.
The game itself is plotless, so some semblance of storyline was required. Three pretty kick-ass chicks are invited to compete in a clandestine martial arts tournament presided over by a smarmy games master. They compete as rivals but soon resort to pooling their resources in an effort to defeat an evil within. It’s all poppycock, but that’s to be expected. Besides, most hormonal lads will only be interested in two things: the wall-to-wall cartoon fisticuffs and the content of the characters’ costumes.

Having been promised the 'trip' of a lifetime by their Irish friend and mushroom expert Jake, a group of American teenagers arrives in Ireland, keen for adventure. Despite Jake's warnings about the 'shrooms they shouldn't eat, things start to go horribly wrong and the teenagers suffer horrific visions. The panicked friends are attacked by ghostly creatures, never sure whether they are experiencing gruesome reality or startling hallucinations. The women were killed by Mr. Hertz who was working for a wealthy firearms executive. However, Mr. Hertz and the Democratic politican cut a deal to work together. Smith kills every one of them personally, and in the end he reunites with DQ and the baby to start a new family.
